Zero Waste

One of AMOVALE’s major concerns is the disposal of garbage. With that in mind, a designated area was built for residents and tourists who travel through SP247 highway, to correctly dispose of their waste. In 2020, the structure was increased and special spaces for recyclables were created. In partnership with workers in the region, the discarded material is sent to recycling centers and the rest is collected by Bananal’s Town Hall. In addition, we organized joint efforts to collect the garbage thrown by the highway and the Bananal river. Another important aspect of our work is the campaigns to make the population aware of the correct disposal of garbage and the separation of recyclable materials.
